SPORTLIGHT Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the iOS application Skill Cam (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
Skill Cam is a sports video tool that combines delayed live preview during recording with post-recording analysis features such as drawing, split-screen comparison, overlay comparison, and video export. The App does not require account registration. Recorded videos, annotations, and related data are stored on your device by default.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the App. The “App Privacy” details shown on the App’s App Store product page reflect the information we declare in App Store Connect and are intended to be consistent with this policy.
2. Information We Handle
2.1 Data Stored on Your Device (not sent to our servers)
To provide core App features, the following information is stored on your device. We do not transmit or store this data on our own servers.
- Recorded video clips (video and, when permitted, audio captured during recording)
- Clip metadata (e.g., title, creation date, duration, file identifiers)
- Annotation data (drawing shapes, flag timestamps, tool colors, and related settings)
- Exported videos created within the App and saved to the in-app library
- Temporary delay-preview frames held in memory on your device during recording to provide the delay preview feature (not saved as separate files unless included in a recorded clip)
- App-related settings stored locally on your device
If you use the App’s share features to send video files via Mail, AirDrop, Files, or other services, those transfers are handled by the third-party services you choose, under their own terms and privacy policies.
2.2 Device Permissions and On-Device Processing
The App requests the following permissions only to provide its features. Processing occurs on your device unless you explicitly choose to share content through another service.

We do not directly collect:
- Contact information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Location data
- Contacts or general access to your photo library (we only request permission to add photos when you choose to save)
- Payment card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials
- Account credentials (the App does not require sign-in)
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs in the App at this time.
3. Export and Sharing
The App can export composed videos (including drawings and, where applicable, comparison layouts) and save them to the in-app library. You may also share video files using the iOS share sheet.
When you share content, the recipient service (e.g., Apple Mail, AirDrop, cloud storage providers) processes that data under its own privacy policy. We do not control how those services handle your shared files.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Apple Inc.
- Purpose: App distribution and platform services
- What we receive: We do not receive your personal information from Apple through normal App Store distribution
4.2 Services You Choose When Sharing
- Purpose: Delivering files you explicitly share (e.g., Mail, AirDrop, Files, messaging apps)
- Details: Governed by the privacy policies of the services you select
5. How We Use Information
We use information only to:
- Provide App features (recording, delay preview, playback, drawing, comparison, export, and library management)
- Store and display your clips and annotations on your device
- Save videos to your photo library when you request it
- Respond to your inquiries and comply with applicable law
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:
- With your consent (e.g., when you use the share sheet)
- When required by law
- To protect life, safety, or property where necessary
- With service providers listed in Section 4, to the extent needed to operate the App
7. Data Retention
- On-device data: Remains on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App
- Delay-preview buffer: Held temporarily in memory during use and cleared when recording stops or the App is terminated
- Shared files: Once shared through another service, retention is governed by that service
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can:
- Deny or revoke camera, microphone, or photo library permissions in iOS Settings (some features may be limited)
- Delete individual clips and annotations within the App
- Remove all App data by uninstalling the App
- Choose whether and how to share exported videos

9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International Users
The App is designed to process and store data on your device. If you share content through third-party services, those services may process data in accordance with their own policies and applicable law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, App features, or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
